Carson's Microscope pictures

I got a electronic microscope for my birthday from my Grandpa Bea and Grandpa Gene, and I had a lot of fun with it. It goes from 50x magnification to 500x

All of the pictures are taken with around 100x to 300x magnification except for the marked ones.

Living in Sparks

We are living at the Knight's house now, until we will move into our new home in Galena at the end of this month. Grandpa Knight showed us one of his Kentucky rifle replicas and showed us all its features and beautiful carvings and metal inlays, as well as telling us the history.

Finding a garter snake

The kids were in the yard at the Knight's and found a decent sized garter snake.

Searching for crystals and chrysocolla

We went for a drive up to the Crystal Peak area and looked for quartz and chrysocolla on the road. Grandma Knight challenged everyone to find some smokey quartz, some chrysocolla, and some crystals with a certain edge and point to them. 

Grandpa Knight made sure the kids got to drive the ranger while we were there.
