Our first stop was the Hendy Woods. It was mostly empty, so it was a nice way to get out and walk some easy trails and see some huge redwoods.
...and then we walked back out of the forest.
This was the first beach we saw after driving through the mountains, so we got out and walked around.
We had to take a detour on our way to the coast, because one of the main roads was closed. We had a rough ride on a back road, but we finally made it through.
