Frontier Folklife Festival

Frontier Homestead State Park hosted the annual Frontier Folklife Festival this weekend.  They had historic exhibits and re-enactors eager to help us learn about our history.  The Paiute Youth Dancers performed while we were there. We learned about medical practices during the Civil War.

Throwback to the 50's at Bulloch Drug Store, Cedar City, Utah

Oakland Temple Open House

Scott and Lori invited us to Ryan's Track Competition to watch him pole vault and to attend the Oakland Temple Open House with them.  They were nice events, but it was especially great to spent time with their family.

Woodworking with Grandpa Knight

Fixing Bicycles

We went for beautiful bicycle ride by the Truckee River with Grandpa Knight.  After a while we stopped and noticed thorns all over Tucker and Savannah's tires. In all, we found about 11 holes in their tubes.  So we did some bicycle repair.
